Woman arrested after posing as USPS employee

COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police in Cobleskill arrested a woman they say she posed as a USPS employee in order to steal hundreds of dollars.

Police say on Friday, September 7, Brittany Bailey entered the Cobleskill Post Office wearing a U.S. Postal Service Uniform and was able to convince employees she was also an employee.

Eventually, she gained access to the secure section of the post office.

While the clerk was distracted, Bailey is accused of taking $400 from the register.
