Postal inspectors and officers from the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office responded to the burglary in the morning of April 18. Inspectors are working to determine the extent of the damage. The post office has since reopened.
“The U.S. Postal Inspection Service places the safety and security of all postal facilities as one of our top priorities,” said Anthony Galetti, inspector in charge of the Seattle division. “We will continue to work with our local partners to investigate this burglary and bring all suspects to justice.”
