U.S. Postal Service truck stolen in Fresno, crashed minutes later

FRESNO, California – Fresno Police are investigating the theft of a mail truck. Police said around 12 p.m. Saturday, police got a call of man running across Shaw Avenue near Fresno State trying to stop cars. Police say the man approached a mail carrier and pushed the driver down and jumped inside the U.S Postal vehicle and drove away.

The suspect later crashed near Shaw and Maroa avenues, where police arrested the suspect.
