Three indicted on charges of kidnapping USPS worker in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHAM) – Three suspects in Rochester were indicted by a federal grand jury Friday in connection to a kidnapping involving a U.S. Postal Service employee.

Prosecutors said the kidnapping happened on November 16, 2019.

The United States Postal Inspection Service worked with the Rochester Police Department to prosecute this case.

The indictment lists Mark Rogers, 36, Joseph Way, 34, and Tashara Levans, 35, and charges them with kidnapping. The circumstances of the kidnapping, as well as any motive, were not disclosed in the indictment. Subsequent paperwork has not been released to the public yet.
