Robeson County postal worker shot while walking up to home

Robeson County, N.C. (WPDE) — A mail carrier was shot Saturday afternoon while walking up to a home on Stafford Street in the Fairmont community of Robeson County, according to Fairmont Police Chief Jon Edwards.

Edwards said she was struck with a small caliber bullet in the right bicep.

She’s expected to be ok.

At this time, police aren’t sure of the location of where the shot was fired from.

Edwards said postal inspectors are handling investigation at this time
