Program recognizes postal employees

USPS is seeking nominations for a program that recognizes bargaining unit employees who have positive attitudes and who go the extra mile in their work.

Engagement Most Valuable Player (EMVP), introduced in 2017, is one of several programs that help the Postal Service to engage and empower employees, a core strategy.

More than 2,400 employees were recognized through the program earlier this year. Each honoree received a certificate of appreciation, pin and lanyard.

Only bargaining unit employees can nominate other bargaining unit employees for the program. Nominations will open Nov. 1 and will be accepted through Jan. 12, 2020.

Honorees will be announced early next year.

The Employee Engagement LiteBlue page will have more information, including an online nomination form, beginning Nov. 1.
