Lawmaker files complaint over report of ballots discovered at postal facility

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WLUK) — An area lawmaker is filing a complaint with state elections officials after he says undelivered absentee ballots were discovered at a postal facility.

Feyen’s office says it believes the ballots were blank ballots that had not been delivered to voters, but was working to confirm that information.

In a conference call with reporters Wednesday, WEC Administrator Meagan Wolfe said the commission would meet to consider Feyen’s complaint. However, Wolfe said she was not aware of any provisions of state law that would allow ballots to be counted if they were postmarked after election day.
