NALC Headquarters has been notified of one member in Colorado who lost his home due to the devastating Marshall Fire. Many other members have been displaced. They have not yet been able to return to their homes to survey any damage that their property might have suffered.

The fire started on Dec. 30 and quickly spread more than 6,000 acres, destroying homes and forcing thousands of people to evacuate. NALC has been informed that approximately 600 homes and businesses on city routes in Louisville, CO have been destroyed or are severely damaged. In Boulder, CO, at least two city routes have been affected, with the extent of the damage still being uncovered.
