HENRY COUNTY, Ga. – Channel 2 Action News is getting results for a Henry County family who watched as a postal truck dug up their front yard and left a muddy mess.

“I couldn’t believe this. He purposely drove straight through the yard rather than using the turn around,” homeowner Greg Bowen told Channel 2 consumer investigator Jim Strickland. “And I’m hollering for him to stop and he’s just spinning wheels and spinning wheels.”

The postal truck had to be pulled out of their yard with a wench.

The incident happened in the middle of a December, a month in which the Atlanta area recorded nearly a foot of rain, three times the average.

A month later, the damage remains unfixed.
