Authorities investigating multiple break-ins at USPS in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — USPS Postal Inspectors in Tallahassee are investigating three break-ins that occurred at the location in Killearn over the weekend.

According to inspectors, someone broke into three different collection boxes at the USPS location at 6800 Thomasville Road, Ste 101, between Saturday and Monday morning.

They say only regular first class mail would have been stolen from the collection boxes during the break-in, though they have not yet taken inventory on what all was stolen.

Inspectors are asking any customers who deposited mail at the location to check and monitor their banking and credit accounts for suspicious activity.
