Asian USPS worker stabbed, violently robbed in San Francisco

The victim, first identified by KGO reporter Dion Lim, is Chi Ling Lee, a 53-year-old USPS employee. Brutal images, apparently taken immediately after the attack, show Lee’s face and shirt covered in blood as he speaks to San Francisco police.

It took place late Saturday night, when a stranger approached Lee and demanded his money. He was stabbed “multiple times” in his upper body and face, per a GoFundMe posted by his wife, Dong Min Sun.

The attacker made away with Lee’s backpack before escaping in a getaway vehicle.
