2 Mail Trucks Stolen, Used In Early Morning Chase

ACTON (CBSLA.com) — Two mail trucks were recovered soon after being stolen from an Acton facility, but authorities are still concerned about items that may have been taken from the trucks.

The crime happened about 3:30 a.m. at the post office in the 3300 block of Smith Avenue, according to a deputy at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.

Deputies chased after the trucks until one crashed at the intersection of Shannondale Road and Sierra Highway. The driver of that truck was picked up by someone following in a dark Ford Mustang that got away.

The second truck was found along Escondido Canyon Road and Jones Canyon Road.

Authorities say five sets of key rings with master keys to several community mail boxes were taken.

What the he!! Why were arrow keys in LLV’s overnight? Five sets!?!

How do you chase someone in those? They hardly get up to speed and go over 50

That is what I was thinking. Can’t you see the news report “….speeds up to 30 miles an hour were reported during the chase…”

My question is why we’re the trucks unlocked? Criminals everywhere?

Must have been an ffv, definitely wasn’t an llv lol
