USPS mail truck burnt to a crisp

A United States Postal Service mail truck was caught ablaze Thursday afternoon in Escambia County.

Escambia Fire got a call at 2:14 p.m about a vehicle fire at the 8300 block of Raleigh Circle just north of Interstate 10, off Detroit Boulevard.

Reports say that smoke and flames could be seen from people in the area.

It didn’t take Escambia Fire long to extinguish the flames.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
